It's finally spring and Lee Middleton Doll has released the Summer 2008 products !!

Everyone knows how wonderful Middleton dolls are but we are  surprised by the response to the Summer 2008 products.  

The  Beary Precious Special Reissue (#2372).was very popular in 2000.  In two days she has sold so quickly that  there are only 56 dolls left!  

Middleton has 12 new Artist editions and 5 new Now babies for summer 2008, plus many others on sale.  All 12 of the new Artist Series and Now baby dolls are available for pre-order.  They will  be available for delivery in May and June.  

If you love them order now so that when delivery is available your doll  will be reserved for you.   See the images below to see the some of the new dolls.

The cost of doll production:  

The cost of oil directly affects the plastic parts in many toys and the vinyl in dolls specifically. It also affects the
  energy use and, therefore, the freight charges of boats, trains, and trucks traveling from great distances.

• The fall of the dollar against foreign currencies results in the rise in the cost of imports.

 . More rigid and more frequent testing of toy-related products adds to the cost of the final product.

 • And now, through global and state mandates, non-phthalate vinyl requirements have caused doll makers to

  "cleanse" their molds and use more expensive vinyl mixtures.

 

Unfortunately, Middleton and other doll manufacturers can only absorb so much of this cost…and they are. However, Middleton has always  provided great values in the PlayBabies and cannot soak up the whole increased tab. Therefore, effective April 30th, there will be price increases on almost all Middleton Play Babies.  These changes will be published in early May.

If you have a desire to purchase Play Babies or Collectible babies now is definitely the time to do so!  Take advantage of the babies on sale now at  the old prices! 

Have you noticed our addition of the classic ride on toys?  We have included a  terrrific little wooden bike designed for children 2 to 5 years old.  It helps to develop coordination and balance before the child is ready for  pedals.

 We also have the old classic retro pedal cars.  Remember the medal cars that lasted forever?  We have them, including cars, tractors, wagons, airplanes, floor scooters and more.  We even have them in pink for adorable little girls!  Be sure to check them out.  You'll love them.
